After looking at these for a bit I think that finger notch need to be another 1/8"-1/4" deeper at least, and maybe slightly more shallow palm swell.,

Like the Thorn, my opinion only, make a small notch at the end of the blade so one can sharpen the whole blade when it is close to the ricasso. Did not like the handle colors in the examples above, maybe some nice curly maple or ironwood, any other handle scale options?

No worries, these are just elaborations in the muscle car theme I was noodling with on the fiddlebacks. Will see of I can do a couple updated wood versions this evening.
Personally I like the black and white theme, simple and elegant. Though I am liking a solid black with a black liner and bright pinstripe. But still love pine cone too.

I imagine Allen will modify the shape as needed to improve the hold or improve blade geometry. Just realized what I've done there is force an orthographic view into that angle so the handle would not really appear that way. Did not make any real perspective or show enough depth or shape in the handle.

Cool, now I see what the colors were in reference to, nice ideas. I also like the pine cone thing with resin.

Hey Allen, have you had a chance to make any prototypes for this? Or any progress photos? Loved the design on the Thorn. I'm super excited to see what the real thing looks like. :D
