Design contest!

I too have sent an e-mail with scaled image attached. Thank you very much. I am very honored and appreciative to have one of my designs selected as a winner. I hope it serves you well.

Here are the first two, with Andy's in the middle for size comparison. I am keeping the top one for myself (matches my personal stingray) and the bottom one will be coming to a Fiddleback Friday soon, lol. Can't decide which profile I like better, might just have to put both in the line-up.

I like both versions for different reasons. Both in the line-up may be the right decision. Not real sure if I could pick one. I think they both may have their place.

I like the bottom one because the back of the handle sways some. Makes it look sleek and such.

I think the image decieves you, lol. The handles are the same on both models. The only difference between the two is the thumb ramp.

I've been deceived too then. The back of the handles look different and that was what originally made me say I liked the bottom one better.

Here's my entry. Too bad you already chose. I guess I'll just have to give it to someone else who does hollow grinds. :)

I decided on a name for mine, Skera, which is Icelandic for "cut". Let me know what you guys think.

Great name Coop7 and I can't wait to see it in the flesh..er...steel.

The Shark looks ready to strike, well designed and named.

Congrats to both winners. Allen, you are going to post the finished knives here too so we all can see the result? Would be cool to see a pic of the finished knife together with the original hand drawn pic.

I know Allen must be real busy with all the knives FF is turning out and attending a few shows I heard mention of. It would be cool to see some work in progress pics to see a knife (knives) take life. I understand if "work" gets in the way as it often does. I'd be lying if I said I want excited to see this thing come about. Thanks again Allen.

I will try and get some pics up of the current state. They are coming along and one of them actually has two versions.

Now I'm really curious about the variation version. I'm sure it's somewhat of an improvement. That probably happens often from the "paper to hand" transition.
How well do you feel the models are turning out? Hopefully they are pieces that enhance your model line. Not that you don't have great models. I've been eyeing a few of them.
