I love this idear...but I also have no design talent. You know those children's drawings come to life type projects? I promise I am not going to do that to whatever you guys come up with! And I am sure your artistic abilities are better than those of a child!
I will use artistic interpolation to make the selected design into a flowing, reasonable, attractive, and useful knife.
Close entries, I think we have a winner
I think I said it before but that is an awesome design. I am saving for one with a blend of that handle and the Barax as I am addicted to the drop and flare at the butt of the Philippine Barong.I blew my design quota on this:

Sorry, that’s the extent of my bladular creativity, though I admit I haven’t really given it a whole lot of effort. Tomorrow should be a slow work day - maybe I’ll exercise my old sketching muscles and see if I remember how to draw with an actual pencil. Assuming I can find a blank piece of paper big enough that I haven’t shredded up testing knife blades.
I've been personally toying with having a square tipped camp knife made myself. Based off of my 18 inch imacasa corn machete... I was going to doodle something up later today. You beat me to it...I was fortunate to get a fairly impressive piece this year. it's really pretty Amazing.
I've been kicking around the idea of making My version..... I'm trying to come up with detailed drawings for handles that are more in My style.
I initially, like I said earlier, thought of DM blades.
I like longer handles, and I lengthened Wheeler's, and filled it out more.
Very, very Simple, but refined
Would be a Fun one to make, and use. Possibly a good one for a colab. Or we each make one, and compare....idk?
