I dig that!
But I already have a Golok from DM.
Some cool designs so far but some aren't in the maker's design style, or don't call to mind the designated name.

Your style is awesome. I’ll play. Makes me want a very thin, vaguely Asian-inspired kitchen knife, with a triangular cutout/void above the grind line. Handle made from exotic wood, glued and pinned. Small. Maybe 9” long.

not my style knife but man some seriously good shading work on that handle wood drawing....ya got it 3d looking I can tell the actual shape in all dimensions, ya want it. very impressive drawing...ya have some real talent there.......

Thanks! I realized later that it needed more belly to be a real kitchen knife. Otherwise I’d be dragging my knuckles on the cutting board! Oh well. Super fun and engaging exercise! I bought two Mora blanks a few months ago and made handles for them, and I think that’s just how handles end up looking in my mind. 😂

I have virtually zero artistic ability, nor do I have an art rendering program other than doodle on my iPad lol. I’m jealous of you all who have either or both.

Here’s my basic idea. It’s got the round ring on the bottom for a “bonker” and can use to hang or add wrist lanyard. The scales would have to look reptilian like green/black with scale looking etched or the scales themselves dragony/reptilly.

The spike (knife portion) sharpened with a chisel bevel to be used to cut more precise as needed. Like gutting Godzilla lol.

You got Bonker-(bottom ring for bonking) ZillaSaurusRex-(reptilian scales).
AKA; ZILLA-HAWK, ZILLA-KILLA, T-Rex-KWON DO lol.

Not sure if this qualifies for a “knife” though haha

Made a better version of my dream knife. This time with serrations like the buckmaster has.

This knife would be perfect for my backcountry ski trips, bike tours and hikes/climbs.

Serrated swedge to cut rope and slings, if need be.

Jimping is a bit too agressive on this sketch, spyderco-like serrations would be better...

Orange sure touch handle scales would fit this well 🙂

I like the idea of the ridges on the clip as a fish scaler.....
As a kid, my dad taught me how to clean bluegills.

I cook most small fish with bones in, breaded and fried.

like this one but prefer the Buckmaster size teeth on it like your super mountaineering knife......

Yeah, would probably be much more practical...was trying to draw something bit more exotic

I grew up catching and eating, bream.....we used an old metal spoon to remove the scales left the skin on each side we cut. removed the ribcage pieces and pan fried.....
