Huge difference over Tandys Oak Leaf brand. This was 8-9oz split down to 8oz (small fee), it's consistent and made the flesh side really clean. It seems to wet form better, burnish way better, takes dye well and has a higher quality feel. I'll be using Hermann Oak from now on.Can you tell a big difference with the Hermann Oak? Looks like it won in the poll. 'Redmeadow Serrano' had a nice ring to itNice progress, John
So is "Serrano" official?
Kinda looks like it from the first post in the "two words thread."
Happy weekend everyone![]()
That's good to hear, I keep wanting to try Wickett and Craig, I heard it was also very good. Maybe when I start getting low again.Huge difference over Tandys Oak Leaf brand. I'd like to try that as well, last time I looked for it everything was "Call to Order", that usually means I can't afford it!That's good to hear, I keep wanting to try Wickett and Craig, I heard it was also very good. Maybe when I start getting low again.

Especially considering the handle construction. I doubt I'll do a batch of eight through-tangs again. Full tangs maybe.Looking good, John!![]()
