Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

One of our cats loves to chew electrical cords...good grief.

Good excuse to break out a pocket knife as my wire strippers are a bit old and wobbly jointed.

Thear are lots of great knives in this thread! Today I used my case yellow cv trapper to open about 55 hay and straw bales . Bailing twine is hard on a knifes edge.

ESNTL on steak duty tonight

I used the handle of my Opinel to rub around the dogs ears....she loves that.

Nearly everyday I let my kitty rub the corners of his mouth on whatever knife I have on me, and rub behind his ears too! Sometimes he scares me going to rub on an open blade in my hand . Today I had to trim some strings on my hat, cut some paper bags apart to make work mats (the folded edges are great for catching small parts,) whittle some pencils in class and trim my nails. All done with my Case medium stockman that I love to hate, but am forcing myself to use.

Not much cutting to do on a relaxing day off. Just a little bit of mail to open.

This thing really chews the edge off, I had to strop half way and sharpen after every heart.

To keep this great thread going here was my Case Slimline Trapper EZ open getting some get use on Super Bowl Sunday with Mt. Tam triple cream.
Couldn't get the easy open in CV but stainless still works.

Good Stuff

Not just a toy, it actually worked better than the old crank-turny kind:

My Full sized Case Sodbuster pulled KP this weekend. My Western Jigged bone stock man opened mail ,cut some loose threads on my jacket ,sharpened a pencil.

Mora cut up carpet and padding in our rental house, built a fire friday, is going to be working on trim today.
