Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

I'll let her know Gev, I'm sure she'll have a nice time :)

My TAblett also helped me score a load of coins from all over the world, which will be coming your way at some point sir

Your too kind, Jack. Don't you go buying coins for me as you have already made me smile enough. You and all the gentleman here are overwhelming me with kindness!!

May all of your collective kindness permeate the world consciousness and alleviate the suffering of the Absolute. Amen

Tonight my Burnside Jack facilitated the preparation and consumption of some spicy Louisiana sausages, Heinz beans (though the cadet opened the tin), tomatoes fresh from the garden, and skillet cornbread with honey butter.

Yesterday I used my Mountain Man to bore some holes in the plywood walls of the wheelhouse on my lobster boat. I was trying to install some eye screws so I can tie down the hundred pound boxes of bait that tend to slide across the deck when there is a sea on. It was a spur of the moment project so naturally I had no drill or other proper tools but I wanted it done. I don't think to take pix when I'm using the knife but it held up fine. no tips were broken and it almost closed once but it got the job done.

CS Pinch helped out with Moscow Mule duty last night, the vodka comes from a distillery in town, the welding of the still was done by me.

Great stuff Kris

My Castor helped me make mushrooms on toast (looked a lot like this ;) ).

Used this beauty to open up some parts boxes at the shop today.

While out walking with my girlfriend today, my Vic Bantam bisecetted a couple of locally-made pasties so we could 'mix 'n' match'. They were both very tasty ;)

Pasties look fine Jack! Very satisfying.

Bye Eck!! Just right for putting in the Snap Tin to go down t'pit ...:D:thumbup:

Good work Gev. Glad you are eating well, thanks to me :)

I really like the shape of the blades on those Castors. Could do with a stainless version too (heresy....) Too bad they demand such outrageous post&packing charges, 25 Euro from one EU country to another!!

Today a Schrade OT3 small lockback made a hole in the porridge box, i like it raw.

Looks good, Jack, although... around these parts, "pasties" are not usually edible.
...although, with a wife who's part of a bellydance & fire performance troupe, my knife gets used to prepare pasties from time to time as well. ;)
