Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

At home with a heavy cold today, sigh! Well, first one in nearly 4 years so perhaps all this fruit eating does help...? Bulldog sliced up a couple of these today, only problem can't taste them..:grumpy:

Had a cigar and listened to the radio out on the porch this afternoon...the Farmer, Milticlip and Vic combo thermometer joined me. The temps are dropping and wind howling but my cigar didn't budge!

SAK...great shot..... back into cigars after 9 years ( no more than 3 a week). I'd be out on the porch smoking one today.... but it's a wind tunnel today in Frisco.

Peter,,,

Thank you Peter!

It was almost too windy here but had a half a VS Series 55 Corojo saved from Saturday and I hated to waste it!

Used my little Case CV Rancher Sowbelly to turn these:

into a nice little apple crisp dessert for Easter at my aunt's house today:

Happy Easter everybody!

PS- I'm hoping soon to be able to upload a pic of the Sowbelly harvesting some Morels!

Trey, what knife is that? Who's the maker? Can you tell us more about it please?
Very unique, I like it. Looks like it would be handy out on the water.

My new Viper definitely hit the ground running. Helping with a little project, on its second day in my pocket.

The caplifter of my #15 Boys Knife opened a bottle of coffee cream this moring - yeah coffee cream and not beer :p

For lunch I had a roll with a Schnitzel in it ... no work so far for the knife ;)

Sad to say only traditionals i have are severly neglected. :( Open a package with them once in awhile but otherwise don't get any love. If i had a nice slipjoint in D2 would probably carry it once in awhile.

Take a look at Queen knives :)

I used my 22 to open a bag of corn and sharpen a pencil earlier.

I'm carrying my charlow now, hope it gets some use.

I don't have a picture of my knife in action but today I used my case copperhead to pick two morels.

That is a folding biltong knife made in South Africa by JD Ellis, one of the top knife makers in the world in my opinion. K460 steel (Bohler's equivalent of O1).
This is a great knife.

I just sliced up a pizza box to fit in my trash can. Kind of a "Barlow break" from writing a final paper. Haven't slept. Anybody interested in English origins of American law?

No, but what kind of pizza was it? :p :D

Well... They call it "The meat pie special" haha it's just every meat, from a cheap place with free delivery. Great for those times when you have to read ~250 pages then write a 10-12 page paper on it in 24 hours.

 Sounds great for sitting in front of the TV as well! :D

Yes, certain principles and legal concepts found in English Common law can be found in the legal framework of four of our states, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Kentucky, as well as in two US territories, Puerto Rico and the Mariana Islands. Precedence and common sense typically apply in many of these laws, as opposed to actually codifying said laws.
