Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

Yes, certain principles and legal concepts found in English Common law can be found in the legal framework of four of our states, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Kentucky, as well as in two US territories, Puerto Rico and the Mariana Islands. Precedence and common sense typically apply in many of these laws, as opposed to actually codifying said laws.

Oh, believe me, I am familiar with the subject. My professor literally wrote the book on it, and I literally just read the whole thing.

Sad to say only traditionals i have are severly neglected. :( Open a package with them once in awhile but otherwise don't get any love. If i had a nice slipjoint in D2 would probably carry it once in awhile.
Have you looked into something from Queen? They do a great job with their D2 blades.

The large Walnut at the top of our garden blew over this winter. Decided to put some of it to use this afternoon by making a baby spoon for my son:)

Slightly slower progress than I'd have liked as I couldn't find my crook knife. Still, the Spey on my #53 sufficed.

Nearly done:)

The Opinel DIY continued to be used yesterday after work.

1) Started to set a sprinkler attached to a hose and noticed it was leaking. A quick examination showed that the washer required replacement. I used the point of the Opinel blade to wedge out the washer.

2) Changed the heater filter. Aside from using the blade to open the filter package, I used the flat head screwdriver blade to remove the screws of the filter retainer so I could perform the replacement.

Not exactly today (been busy) and not exactly a workout for the mighty peanut, but made quick work of some box opening duties.

Ontario Old Hickory did final cut :)

Sorry for bad out focus pics

My Rancher CV worked great for _very_ CAREFULLY applying some little flower and diamond stickers to my daughter's toenails. Despite the position of the knife in the pic, I covered most of the blade and it wasn't pointed towards her when I was putting them on.

Yesterday, more cleaning on my beater red ALOX and then used it to cut some cockleburs out of the schnauzer's coat. Did some CLA on some other ALOX.

My Eureka Jack helped to make its own pocket slip. Coping blade went through the thin leather like butter!
