Did your Traditional knife get a workout today? -Part II

It is obviously not the optimal tool for the job, but it did very well and has great edge geometry.

Beautiful pic. I agree that this is not optimal. I prefer to do food prep with my #55, but the #92 will get the job done nicely. You have a nice little patina forming!

Thank you. I am happy with the patina as well. Slower than I expected, but that is because I am used to superblue.

I noticed the same thing with mine. My 55 developed its patina much quicker.
I love my delica and endura SBs. Great steel

Chopping up some chicken, celery and green onion with this great Santoku from Vince's (VCM3) recent GAW. This is one chopping machine! Chicken salad for lunch today! Thanks again, Vince.

My Charlow opened a package from Barry containing my runner's up prize from his recent giveaway. It knocked my socks off! Thanks Barry :)

Cool slip

Had a impromptu picnic on Memorial Day, made a quick maple balsamic vinaigrette, grabbed some fresh mozzarella, plum tomatoes and some crusty bread and headed out, peanut did all the work

My daughter didn't have her dolls hairbrush so I made her a comb

Great looking sandwich and peanut! LOL, how did your daughter like the comb for her doll? :D

I've carried only one folding knife each day for the past few (which is rare for me). The day before yesterday I carried my Ben Hogan for some fishing and general usage:

Caught a couple okay ones, just a few miles from my house. They were tasty:

The next day I carried my Magnum and Outdoorsman Pro, and again they were used on some trout (no catching, just eating):

And then today I carried my good old Charlow (my first traditional purchase) for some weed eating. I accidentally hit two frogs, and not believing in wasting, used the charlow to prepare the legs for an addition to lunch. I also fished some, and it helped with that, but only caught a little bass:

And all of them have made several smoothies each during their respective days of carry.

My earring got caught on a thread from my shirt. and I used my little Rough Rider whittler to free myself without injury.

Using my Congress to shape a bit of pegwood for a nice relaxing day of watch repair on an old Wadsworth mechanical watch. A bit of cleanup/manipulation of the keyless work, reinsertion/properly seating of the winding stem and walla...a working old timepiece for a pittance.
