Disappointed in dealings with knivesanonymous

It definately is not my ideal and, IMO you are correct he should sell whatever to come up with the money. However, I want to get this worked out and if it takes payments over a reasonable period of time (e.g. 200 now, 200 in 2 weeks, 200 in 4 weeks, 100 in 6 weeks at which point I ship the knife back) I'd do it.

Well, Tim emailed me lest night. Unfortunately his offer to make things right involved me sending the Snody and $100 in exchange for a Carson which I have no interest in.

Actually, although not my preferred method, I would be willing to work out a payment arrangement. Even if he stopped paying me, I wouldn't be out anymore than I already am.

The easier thing to do is have him sell the Carson and send you $700.
Carson knives generally do not last very long on sale, most get scooped right up!!

Thats fine with me too. As long as I get the money back I am fine. I just have no interest in Carsons, so it would make no sense for me to buy his.

I have been trying to make this right as I got off the phone with Mike just a minute ago.

I am not using any bad attitude. I simply said that I need to close my for sale threads as it is not the policy of Bladeforums to have a for sale thread without a gold membership.

Not a smart attitude to be taking...........spending less time with responses like that, and more on rectifying this situation would be a better idea.

It's nice that you're trying to fix this mistake before you leave for boot camp. It's pretty important to go into the service with the highest of integrity.

OK, on first read, it kinda came across as "I'm leaving so I don't care", my apologies.

I sent Steve my phone number in hopes to resolve this issue. I do not think I am in the wrong as the thread description was stated as the knife is. After talking to Mike today there is no reason to let this go on any longer. The knife is going back to Mike. I explained to Mike what was happening and he never even seen a photo of the knife in the first place. I consider Mike a friend of mine and a true arrtist at what he does. I don't mind putting his knife back in my pocket. Steve after my other knives sell I am more than happy to send you a refund. It may take awhile as I told you I am leaving and will not have the chance to be around a computer but I promise you will get your money soon. Bladeforums has always been good to me. This does not need to go on any longer

I believe we have a resolution. Thanks for the assistance and thanks to Tim, pending the sale of another of his knives, taking care of this. I will update when final resolution has been achieved.

Who is going to be the next one to trust him?

Thats out of line sir.:thumbdn:..Both parties have a resolution. Tim did what was right and kept it civil and resolved this issue before leaving for boot.

Everyone makes mistakes some are more of a PITA to deal with than others..
