First time offer for Do it yourselfers!!! Hobbyists! Survivalists!

SurvivalBlanksFramed.jpg

Here’s your chance at a high quality, Made in America blade at a fraction of the cost. Do you think that the blade blanks sold through the catalog stores
are made in the U.S.? Guess again. For YOUR knife, do you want quality steel or a steel with a name you can't remember?

Just add the handles of your choice…wood, Micarta, G10, stag, the options are endless.
Sand off the heat coloring on the flats or leave it there for more character.

OR – wrap it in Paracord for the perfect addition to your Bug Out Bag.

Leave it without handles so you can easily lash it to a staff for a quick spear.

* All of these knives are made with O1 Tool steel heat treated in house to 59/60 RC.
* Pre-drilled with 1/8" and 1/4" holes for scales or Paracord wrapping.
* All made from sturdy 1/8" stock, flat ground on BOTH sides.
* Hand made - not water jet or laser cut. One at a time!
* 600 Grit Satin finish on the blade grinds; heat colored on the flats.
* Made to the same standards as the TCEDC (anyone that owns one and who's tested it, knows the quality)

Models 1, 2, 3, and 5 are only $55. Six of each available now.
Model 4 - The double ground Spear Point is only $75. Only four Spear Points available.
Shipping is only $5.00 for the postman via USPS Priority Mail. Free shipping for three or more blades.

If you buy in pairs, we’ll send you a second blank for only $45 (does not include #4 as the second knife).
So that's 2 quality Jarrett Knives Blanks in O1 Tool Steel for only $100.00.

Here’s how to order...
Post with the number of the knife you would like. Wait for a quick response to make sure it's still available.
Then send the appropriate funds to paypal@jarrettknives.com. It's that easy!

*Note: All measurements are +/- 1/16"

Wayno. Oh yeah, I'll take a #1. Could you send me the one with the most "flats" on the blade? Paypal incoming.

Oh what the heck, throw in a #5 while your at it. Same request with the "flats", if possible. My paypal will cover both. Thanks - Carl

On the no. 5 photo, the bottom knife looks like the grind goes all the way to the back. If you still have this, I'll take it. Please email me. Thanks.

alejandrino - That particular blade is available. I'll set it aside for you until we connect.

Thank you -

The number of blades you are manufacturing is impressive. There is quite a difference between custom knife making and mass producing blades. Running a manufacturing facility has it's challenges primarily quality control. What measures do you have in place to insure the top quality that you advertise. Heat treating requires constant monitoring through inspection that is seldom visible to the naked eye. Your endeavour is admirable however is suspect at this point.

verdigo...

Life is so short...but heck, I'll take the bait. ;)

So 28 hand produced blades = manufacturing and mass producing? If you say so. Regarding your comments "What measures do you have in place to insure the top quality that you advertise." and "Your endeavour is admirable however is suspect at this point" ...well now that you've insulted just about every maker on this forum that does his own heat treating...I'll not get into a big squabble with you here in my "for sale" thread. I'll just let my customer base (which is very well represented here on Bladeforums) speak to that. And lastly, if this is the type of contribution you are making to our forum after being a "Registered User" for only 3 1/2 months (Jan 2010) I am confident that you will win friends by the dozens. Best Wishes and continued good luck.

Bladeforum friends - If you are curious to know why this new person chose to say what he did here in this thread, take a look at this earlier thread from our friend at Coal Creek Forge. I suppose it is in response to a comment I made in that thread.

Verdigo,
I´ve owned many many knives over the years and let me tell you Wayne's are among the best value you can find, I've been more than happy with every knive I've bought from him.

Wayne don't let the ignorant get you down. When your head hits the pillow at night steep in the satisfaction that you have done your best work and that you have many, many folks out here who truly appreciate the creations that your mind and hands produce.
