Do you use a knife at work?

who made that Dha? its amazing!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

That's a hanwei banshee sword. Its my certified coconut slayer and weed killer.

I one cut down about a bunch of marijuana plants whit it. That's about as much use I have given it. Its a very good sword for the price. :D

I'm LEO, I carry 2 knives everyday at work, always have one off duty as well. Everyone at my department carries a knife. I've used a folder for activities including cutting open cans of chew, cutting aluminum cans used to stash dope, breaking windows, cutting seatbelts etc. I actually used a hinderer xm18 to literally pry a closed/locked bathroom door in away from the door jam so I could force it open with my shoulder when a person was down on the other side.

As an electrician I use my knife (small reg sebenza) daily.

Uses include: stripping wire/cables, cutting electrical tape, opening boxes/bags, cutting zip ties or other strapping, breaking down boxes to fit in burning barrel, cutting labels for panelboards/jboxes/wires, sharpening pencils, food prep, the occasional drywall cutting (if i don't have my drywall saw handy) and the list goes on.

I use my knife atleast once every 30 minutes.

I'd guess that if someone ever picked up his knife and used it against another employee, there's be a lawsuit against the bank for allowing him to bring the knife on the premises.

I wonder if they'll ban pens if an employee stabs one into another employee?

Purchasing agent for large computer department. Carry a little Gerber Mini Paraframe, straight edge. Heaviest thing I have to cut is strapping on large skids of equipment.

For lots of box opening, I use a cheap slider box knife.

Of course! I think it's a requirement, I would be fired if I didn't have a knife on me. :D

Cool, ...a lot of places have gone too PC.

If my job-site crew members don't have a sharp knife when needed, you can bet I'll bust their chops.

As stated earlier, I provide knives and help to keep them maintained,

...taking care of your tools is part of being a craftsman, and if you treat your knife worse then your Ex, then maybe you're not the kind of employee I need.

A man's knife is a window to his soul.

I normally have a couple of knives on me when I am working. At the moment I have a Blackhawk Kalista and a Boker Plus Elegance.

Both knives see a lot of use at work for a wide variety of tasks depending on what I am doing. If I'm at a crime scene the knives see a lot more use than if I am on a protection detail.
