Documentary

George, I recently read the book by the guy who gave the famous last lecture before his death. Here is something I really picked up on and believe in. When you love and care about someone and spend a large portion of your life with them they will never be alone as when they go the take a part of you with them. I am sure you know that! The other part is that they have become a part of you and you will never really be alone because they leave a part of their self with you. She will always be in your heart and sometimes the wisp of breeze and little feelings that touch you are her way of letting you know. Best Wishes and tiny breezes to you. We will be there the 14th in spirit. Jim

Wa..Wa..Wally, just checked the extended forecast, looks like it should be a good day this Sunday, partly sunny? highs in the mid 40's,

I'll see Dan a band practice this evening and make sure everythings is set in place for the video.

I wish this country wasn't so darn big!!!!!
Helen's going to be smiling big time watching you and your friends working together at the forge!!!!! :)

I went to the scrim artist and he said that he couldn't scrim the whales rib bone because it is to porous and it was stabilized at WSSI. Looks like I'll be going with a whales tooth on Helen's Knife.;)

Guys, got some pic's up on my webshots albums it's doc 12 14 08. Still have to put in some descriptions.

Okay man, that's just a tease - I want to see that billet too! Sure looks like fun, and I like the whale tooth on Helen's knife. But why does stabilizing prevent scrim? I'd never heard that before.

Hey guys, you too Wa..Wa..Wally ,

Couldn't get to the forum, I've put 59 hours since Monday at work so far, and will be working every day this weeksnf eiand will work every day itill Christmas Eve .

Dan stopped over my house Sunday evening to pick up the camera power source ,that he'd left over the smithy, which I hed brought home for him . While he was here, he showed me the last several minutes of the video, it was very cool.

In order to edit the recording:D, Dan needs to schedule time at the local community college. It may take several weeks for this to happen.

More to follow. :D

Man Larry, I thought I had it bad! I'm glad you find time to make stuff, but I don't know how you do it with hours like that. Take it easy.

Thanks for the update, we'll be waiting impatiently to see that video! :D It looks like a productive time from IG's photos.

I haven't gotten my billet done yet. I plan on doing a ladder pattern with it.:D It wasn't the stabilization that prevent the scrim, it is the surface condition of the bone.

So how'd it go? Where's the pic of the finished billet? What's up with the documentary?

I did not take a pic of Gary's finished billet.:confused: The tapeing did not go that bad. I burnt the tips of the canisters off, because I was waiting one time for Dan to boot up the camera and the other because I was explaining to him what I was doing and not paying close enough attention.:(
My welding forge was roaring too, it had my controller pegged at 2400 degrees.
