Documentary

Thank you kindly for the very nice offer.

We like dogs very well. We are traveling from Finland to Alaska with one dog and two cats. (They came with us from Alaska to here.)

I would love to learn to make knives and Damascus. It would be inspirational to be taught by you.

Let's see, -where are you on the map?

I got to see your knives on the Webshots... Nice...

Best wishes, -Spinner

.

Thanks
I really got to get back into knife making, now that I have the time.
I live closer to Providence RI., than Boston, MA. Providence is only 20 minutes away. An Green Airport in Warwick, RI. is only 30 minutes away.
We are right on the coast on the Acushnet River, which runs into Buzzard's Bay which is part of the Atlantic Ocean.:D
New Bedford is call "Lil Portugal" we have a larger population of Portagee's, which I am one of them. I love to cook, especially Portagee style.:D:D
I'll share some of my recipes with you. I put allot of garlic, hot peppers and spices when I cook. I grow allot of herbs, veggies and hot peppers in my garden.
I make what they call Indian George's Heat Treating Relish. It makes a grown man cry. HEHEHEHEHE!!!

I'd love to get some of your recipes. Specially the Indian George's Heat Treating Relish...

Could you PM it to me.

I'd love to learn to make a Damascus knife but I don't know if I'll get that far North or stay that long.... We will be flying into Philadelphia, PA. I'll buy a truck and an over-the-cab-camper in Pennsylvania.

Then we'll head over to visit friends and family across the country and visit our S/V ORCA in San Francisco area. Then drive through BC and Yukon to AK.

Lets keep in touch and see how it all pulls together.

Kind regards, Spinner

Hey there, Indian George - I had a similar idea for a blade made of my ashes someday. To include them in an ingot of Pendray style Wootz steel... this is really great though as any pattern welded is my favorite material. I would love to see pics of your finished blades as much as everyone else. By the way, what does that Fisher in your shop there weigh?

Gary Rua just called me to tell me that he spoke to the Associated Editor / B. Sobiek from Blade Magazine about the documentary. He told Gary that "he already view the Youtube video and was writing up article for his weekly Email newsletter and that he was going to talk to S. Shackleford about a article". He also said "that he has never heard of anyone doing this before and how cool it was".:D

That's cool George. You never know where things might lead. Helen's still pulling strings for you and more your Angel than ever!

Hey, Happy Birthday IG! And congratulations on the Blade notice. I bet they will run something, your knives are really something exceptional.
