You did good you guys. Amazing really what you're doing. Thanks for sharing it with us. Of course now we need to see some progress pix of the knives coming together!!! All the best IG and Wolf and daughter. God bless.

Awesome Dan! I tried to duck out of as many shots as possible lol. Can't wait to see the 30-min version on tv and I'll check out the youtube version now. Congrats George!

Hey guys! I'm Gary's daughter, Fawn. =)
First of all, let me just say that it's been incredible watching all of this come together. I'm so glad I got to watch a small snippet of the video (I can't wait to see the full thing on the DVD!) and I'm even more excited that I got to be there to watch & photograph this little piece of history.
Knowing my dad's going to have my mother by his side every day makes me so happy. He had a little bit extra of the billet left over to spare and for christmas he made me a heart shaped keychain from it, so now I have that with me every day as well. <3
Helen & my mother were good friends, and I know they would want nothing else other than their men working together and creating these incredible pieces of art and immortalizing them.
I'm really so thankful for all of this, and I can't wait to see the finished products.
I owe a nice hearty thank you to George, My Dad, Dan & Larry. =)

Very cool. Hey George....I bet people don't have any trouble figuring out what part of the country you come from.:D

Great documentary vid and wonderful idea of immortalising your loved ones.

This is to cooooool, glad it all came together for you guys..
Now dial up sucks o watch utube videos and I dont get those PBS channels here inthe southern state of Mississippi so how can I get a DVD?

I hope when I pass on someday that someone is around to make a blade like this from my ashes for Donna and the girls as this idea has been in my will for years now.And now thanks to you guys I know it can be done...Awesome way to imortalize a loved one in my opinion.

Bruce

Sure is an awesome video, George! I'm sure Helen appreciated your thinking out of the box, just like this last project. Very touching, George. That doesn't remove you from the rascal list, though. Happy New Year, George and all!

I'll be burning DVD's as soon as it get the edited 30 minute one. I'll be sending them out to anyone that wants one.
Bruce and Ole Injun, I already had you Guys on the list.;):D

Me too please. I need to document that someone like you really does exist. As I get older the details are likely to get fuzzy. Hell they're already fuzzy.

Phil,

I know what you mean, I believe that's called CRS (Can't Remember Sh..) :D

IG won't be able to make any DVD's till I can get the original over to him. I believe that'll be a week from tomorrow.

Wa..Wa..Wally, better stock up on some burnable DVD's

IG I hope I'm on the list too! I really need that... When I told my wife about this she really got off on it; you might have created a new knifemaker's niche, welding loved ones into special knives.

To all who were involved, super nice work on the video

I can't wait to see the finished blades !!
