Does anyone actually USE their Busse knives?

As for the OP's question...

I both use and collect.
Why... because I like to. :D

.

The thing is, some folks will never understand.

I've done just about everything I can do with a Busse that I could do with a knife. Countless deer and hogs have tasted my INFI. My meaner street hasn't been sharpened in 3 hunting seasons (and I kill a LOT of game). The thing is, the edge is still hair splitting sharp... you wouldn't know I've even used it.

I also use my NMSFNO at least once a week to split mesquite wood for bbq. Now, you may call this "playing" with my knife. Heck, you may be right. But the thing is, I can baton a lot of very hard wood and the knife still shaves... after a year!

What some may call "playing" I call TESTING. I spend a lot of time outdoors and must be 100% confident in my "tools". I only buy the finest quality gear (that I can afford). I prefer Zeiss, Sako (pre-garcia), fine single malt scotch, and Busse's.

So, call it what you want. I appreciate "busselover" showing up to agitate the trough a bit.

Still... Until I see pics, I call BS on him and his 'love'.

So... Busselover. I call you out.

Either put up or STF up and be dismissed as the troll you are. You have not demonstrated that you own a single Busse... but I understand your lack of photos... it's really, really, difficult to take a pic like... um.... this. I doubt you have ever been elbow deep (as you claim) in anything except your own BS.

No way! He got all his at a liquidation sale! :p

Wonder how everyone discovered the AWESOMENESS of BUSSE knives??? FOr me, just dumb luck! Never knew anything about BUSSE, now I got em! Bought a load of them at a storage liquidation and didn't know anything about them! Thought they looked suuuuper coool and cheap, so why not???Whew hew!!!!!!!!

Uncle Jarvis, is that you? :D

Thought this was a thread on actually using Busse knives.....

Glad you finally outed yourself completely on being a troll. Maybe frost cutlery is more your speed.

Still waiting on a pic of a Busse knife that you own, even one.

Thought this was a thread on actually using Busse knives.....

*Was* is right.

But then someone came along and started talking smack about how using isn't really using. :D

Sure would like to see some pics of those liquidation sale knives. :p

Since you don't think that we use our Busse knives appropriately, what do you care? We're all a bunch of 'backyard hiking', toy playing, wannbe knife users according to you.

How's about you educate us on how it's done there, busselover??? ...And use some pix. I think that I speak for more than just me when I say SHOW US THE BUSSE.

The op asked if anyone actually used their Busse knives....I said it looked more like play than use to me.....Judging by the responses, I guess I hit a nerve....You have your definition, I have mine....

What's your definition then? Using them to cut wood isn't use? Should we be out silencing sentries with a pure bred fighter? What do you use your vast collection for, or what did you use your vast collection for? Besides not posting any pictures of them of course.

We're still waiting, just one unique picture of your remaining knife, or old pic of your collection.

To address the OP and not everyone else then, maybe you could, in lieu of the pictures you don't possess, use a descriptive, narrative account of just how you utilized all those liquidation Busses.

Heck, even a reenactment with a Frost would be fine by me. :D

What models did you pick up at that storage facility? That must've been quite a day.

Yeah, people who are sarcastic & insulting usually do. So are you going to take us to school, or just be sarcastic and insulting...?

They were mostly older models but there were a few newer ones. I don't remember each and every one but they were mostly big and useless to me. I only kept a couple that were actually practical users-anorexic badger attack, a howling rat, yard guard (yeah, I know the last two aren't Busse, but close enough). Like I said, I use them for hunting and fishing so I don't need 14 inch blades a half inch thick....sold about thirty of them and made a lot of money....Love those Busse knives!

Fascinating...

Do you write songs too? ;)

Where'd you sell them? Obviously not here. Ebay? You'd probably have a lot of feedback from selling 30 busse knives then...

If you're oh so not impressed with busse knives, besides a couple models, what exactly would cause you to register to this forum with the name busselover.

I like salmon.. well only if it's prepared a certain way, i'm not really too enthused about it to be honest, but if someone cooked it for me in the way I like and didn't charge me.. Yeah I still wouldn't change my screenname to salmon lover.

So... you sold 30, don't know what they were called, what they looked like, not a single image...yet you made a lot of money. sniff sniff ...What is that smell??? Oh, I recognize it now.

BS

Sold them at a couple of gun shows....Why? Suppose you want names and addresses? Sorry....

Never said I wasn't impressed, just said the big ones didn't suit my needs which made them impractical for me....

Don't have to like every woman to like woman....

Didn't say I didn't know what they looked like. And I know many of the names, but what is the point in saying, yeah, there were 10 steel hearts, 5 battle mistresses, etc...?

I guess if I would have slept with them I would have gotten to know them better....
