Does anyone actually USE their Busse knives?

raff out roud ;)

Where'd you sell them? Obviously not here. Ebay? You'd probably have a lot of feedback from selling 30 busse knives then...

If you're oh so not impressed with busse knives, besides a couple models, what exactly would cause you to register to this forum with the name busselover.

I like salmon.. well only if it's prepared a certain way, i'm not really too enthused about it to be honest, but if someone cooked it for me in the way I like and didn't charge me.. Yeah I still wouldn't change my screenname to salmon lover.

They were mostly older models but there were a few newer ones. I don't remember each and every one but they were mostly big and useless to me. I only kept a couple that were actually practical users-anorexic badger attack, a howling rat, yard guard (yeah, I know the last two aren't Busse, but close enough). Like I said, I use them for hunting and fishing so I don't need 14 inch blades a half inch thick....sold about thirty of them and made a lot of money....Love those Busse knives!

Lemme guess... 'Moneylover' as a forum ID was already taken? ;)

Wow, on old models, you could have probably doubled or tripled (or quadrupled or quintupled) what you got at gun shows had you simply listed them here. A Gold Membership and a little research sure could have put some pep in that profit margin. Live and learn, I guess...

:p

Didn't say I didn't know what they looked like. And I know many of the names, but what is the point in saying, yeah, there were 10 steel hearts, 5 battle mistresses, etc...?

I guess if I would have slept with them I would have gotten to know them better...

...I'm not the one calling myself 'busselover' while proving I've got no love for Busse's.

Nah he sold that at a gun show, 75 bucks. He made A LOT of money. Those darn Busse liquidation sales never come around my part of town.

Sorry, I did research the values on ebay and blade forums and did very well when I sold the knives....

I really couldn't care less if you believe me or not.

This thread has gotten off topic. Out of respect for the op and the recent request from the moderator to keep on topic, I will bow out of this so you guys taking issue can get on with your lives...

Now all of the sudden you have respect for the OP??? That's funny...

See ya.

I do have several users. The most used would be a Heavy Duty since most of my use lately hasn't been out in the woods. I don't carry a camera with me so I don't really have many pics.
My users are an old Satin Jack, Natural Outlaw-E, Heavy Duty, Steel Heart-E, Euro Combat 4, Groove Master, Badger Attack-E and a couple of Rats.

The rest of my collection I have because I like them and derive enjoyment from having them.

When the weather is nice the bigger blades come out and I clear paths, shooting lanes, make kindling/tender for the campfire. So I don't have to carry a hatchet or ax.
The rest of them stay home. Not so much because I want to keep them pristine but more because with the knives listed above there's no real reason to make a point in dragging them all out one by one just to use them. I play guitar and have a lot of them but I don't drag 20+ guitars to every show I play. :)
So yeah, I'm a user, collector and I play with them as much as I use them. It's a hobby and something that has a practical use. Win/win
Never slept with one though. My Sig 220 would get jealous.
