Dogs and traditional knives

Here's Daisy, the wire hair Jack Russell and a Lambsfoot from Sheffield.

Here's one I just took.... this is Duke, a full size Yorkie. He just jumped up in my lap and sat there looking at me, so I thought, great time for a pic! Right? Nope... by the time I got my phone going, he was trying to get back down. I finally convinced him to turn and look at me, so this is my hurried pic... with the sowbelly in the background.
He's been with us for just over 14 years, and is almost blind, and almost deaf...... and dearly loved.

Duke looks like a heartbreaker... funny thing we love our guys when they are pups and love them even more when they seniors...bless his pea picking little heart...

William and Flavius. Full size yorkies, 20 lbs and 15 lbs. They are litter mates, been with us all of their 5 years. They won't sit for a picture unless someone is holding their attention with a treat.
Busy boys that are involved in everything we do!

Great pic.... my sister raises and shows Australian Cattle dogs (heelers).... they are really nice dogs... loyal to a fault, as I suppose most dogs are.
Thank you. :)
That's cool that your sister raises them. 🤠
They are by far my favorite breed. Super smart, actually too smart for their own good sometimes. 🤣
We've owned others... they seem to come in two types, those that love people and those that barely tolerate people (except their owners).

Yes, that's it exactly. Some of them do have a tendency to be "one owner" dogs.... most of my sister's have been pretty gregarious... she even has used them as therapy dogs in retirement homes....

Pepper accidentally has found her way into a few of my knife pictures , but puppies are hard to photograph when you're trying to also photograph an object.

Heres the best I've got.

And because this thread is as much about dogs as it is knives, heres pepper at 8 weeks her first day at her new home.

And just the other day, at 10 months now.
