Dogs and traditional knives

No knives but there is a whittler (who prefers toothy edges).

He began early.

Thanks John,
He is an exceptional dog for his physical qualities and his abilities to learn. He was 4 months old when I got him. In a very bad shape. I took care of him. Look how he is strong now at 4 years old:

I'm proud of him.

Such a sweet thread. Here's my 16 year old best friend Gizmo. Like others in his age group, he's mostly blind and deaf, and is having issues moving around, but still the sweetest little guy!

Not much for knife photos, though ;)

And a little indignant for being woken up from his nap

This is Daisy (she’s also in my avatar). She’s a 4-year-old border collie. I’ve had several border collies and they are great dogs.

She comes to work with me most days and she is great with the cows. It’s tough to get a picture of her working, but here is a bad picture of her turning some cows through a gate the other day.

I really enjoy enjoy working with my dogs and just having them riding along with me.

Lacey is the blue heeler/collie mix, Whiskey is the tri-color Aussie Shepherd. (Technically, he's a mini-Aussie, but he got the throwback genes or something, because he is twice the size of all his littermates - more like a slightly small Aussie than a true mini.)

I haven't named the knife yet (I just call it 'the 97'), but it probably does deserve a name.

Those herding breeds are such great dogs, aren’t they. Smart, obidient, and eager to please. 👍
