Not really, although I have tried to enlighten you as to why I feel the way I do about my reasoning.

Oh, and if you were going to single me out like that, you could have totally PM'ed me.

I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and remember that opinions of other knifemakers in this thread are allowed, both good and bad, so long as no one resorts to any name-calling or anything else that will break forum rules and get people infracted. We are a very large family here in BK&T and as such we are going to get a large group of differing opinions on everything from other knives to the type of cooking oil we use, but at the end of the day we are here for a reason and that is a love of knives, and in this subforum at least a love of BK&T.

That being said, if people don't chill out, infractions will start being issued. And no, this isn't being directed at any one person specifically, but rather several of you here over the last several pages. Take a second, relaxificate yourselves, and let cooler heads prevail.
 
Double post.

I blame the chili cheese tots I had for dinner. They're doing a number on my stomach, hence my being up at such a late hour.

Me neither man, if people talk long enough eventually there will be some disputes, especially with hard headed people like me.

Thats why im only social on the computer, its a lot easier, and you actually have time to apologize when you make a mistake. but in the real world if you act before you think you end up in jail or the hospital. I have been sent to both more than once. Im not really good with people and i try and apologize for this as much as i can.

My wife says i have gotten a little better since i joined the forum, im learning to talk to people better i guess according to her, but im still no a social butterfly. I am trying to improve though.

If we ever meet up first beer will be on me.

Does it HAVE to be beer? I really don't like beer that much.
 
So I gots a buddy that lives just outside LA and he works with a company that deals in electronics and equipment for the entertainment industry and they have good deals on used TV's and the like. He's hooking me up with a used 40" LCD for $230 shipped. I forget the specs on it but he knows way more about that than me and he says it's good.

Same guy also gets to go to a trade show in Vegas in April so I'm gonna head over and meet him and his brother for a weekend. The room is paid for so I just need to get my butt over there. Not sure if I feel like another marathon road trip by myself (12 hours one way) but I'm also not sure if I want to drive up to Denver international to catch a plane.
 
Sounds like a great deal to me, I got my 46" panasonic during a huge sale for 399, the next day we went back to get a smaller one for the bedroom and the sale was over and the one i got the previous day was already back up to 650!!

We ended up getting a 32" for the bedroom and it cost around 350, not much less than our 46"

So 230 shipped for 40" is excellent i think, especially when shipping will prolly cost a nice amount.
