Doug C (Castor) has passed away.

Doug was also one of my very first friend requests here. Really sorry to hear of his passing, just a great guy. RIP...
 
Ryan, you are more than welcome here. Please stop by anytime. Your uncle was a great man. He was loved and well respected.

Go rest high on that mountain, Doug. Prayers of peace for his family, and my condolences. I especially remember one conversation I had with him, out of several. Some things were going wrong for me, I was staying away from BF because of it. One days I got a notice that I had a PM. It was Doug, just wanting to be sure I was OK, and letting me know he was there if I ever needed him. That's the kind of person he was. He'll be missed.
 
Chatted with Doug a little on facebook as opposed to here, was a such a nice guy.

Doug was one of my favorite people, we communicated a bit, some on FB. I know I'm going to miss you, Doug!

Like many others, Doug was one of my first friends here. Naturally I followed his posts and was introduced to all sorts of new makers and his awesome collection. Not to mention a big hearted man with a level head. I literally felt complete shock when I heard the news, and the sadness settled in. However, I am glad that I got the chance to chat with him and get to know what I could of him. I will miss him. Go Easy Friend.

Doug was one of my best friends here, like with many others here, and will be sorely missed by me, and so many others.
I'll miss everything about him, and one of those things will be talking to him about NASCAR, as he and I seemed like the only two huge fans here. He was always putting up killer music in the music thread, and we had been to many of the same concert tours back in the day. We were about the same age, and seemed to have done a lot of the same things in our younger years.
Doug was one the kindest, and most level headed persons I have ever known. Kind, smart, funny, caring, and on and on. Hell of a man, and I feel fortunate to have known him.
R.I.P., Doug. You'll be sorely missed, and never forgotten.
 
Very sad and unexpected. Sending my condolences, Doug will be missed and has contributed a lot to this community.
