Wow looks pretty sweet. Gotta get one but dont really need one of those with a certificate since it will be getting heavily used.

The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
So are the knives that are serialized and come with a certificate more? I know it's a stupid question, but I gotta ask. And how do you get one with those?
Try to read the first post in this thread. Final price hasnt been annonced yet.
I did. The price for a standard one hasn't been announced. I was wondering if the price for one that's numbered with a certificate would cost more.
We will do our best to answer all these questions. But first of all the most important one. The DPx HEST/F comes with a unconditional, no questions asked guarantee for registered owners.
The DPx family is a small group of enthusiasts, many of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting so its important that the product must serve the needs of the customer. That also means the realities of the paycheck. You will be very surprised (happily) when you see the price for a hand and small machine-works made small batch knife without stinting on any aspect of durability or quality.
By the end of this week we should have finalized pricing, final design and I think you will be surprised at what our international team has put together for you. It's going to be in that sweet spot between the "brag blades" and the "high end sorta likes") You have seen what Lion Steel has done in their high-end folder and we are taking it further with a totally fresh approach and design to tough folders.
We will be creating a website just to follow the creation, thinking, design and enthusiasts comments at www.DPxGear.com and will keep the Bladeforums up to speed as well. You will appreciate the attention to detail and I am stoked as well.. since I need a good folder!
The initial numbered and signed run will be only 250 with a small enthusiast run to be sold through ESEE's dealer network. Jeff has been pinging the network and we have had great response. Your comments are gratifying because that's what makes our products unique, real world use, constant improvement from hard core users and no concessions made to mass marketing or short cuts.
OK enough hype.
How would registration be done? Through the dealer? Thanks.
marthinus - RYP and Jeff have both posted that after they go over in September and get moving towards final production....that they will have all the details nailed for us.
my bet is that if you aren't committed to the prebuy list -
and those who are on it - are buying it no matter what.
(i am and I don't like folders)
that it won't matter. 250 is a tiny offering and prob. a guaranteed sell out.
BTW - a mr. DP tattoo would be cool!
I just saw this picture on another forum, very cool knife.
