Earl Sees the World!

Earl seemed to be a little homesick after all those months of traveling. So I will give him a cure this afternoon. We will go to the fire range and gonna take my Marlin 39A with me, and a bunch of .22 lr ammo for target shooting with this buddy. What could be more american than an Marlin lever action gun? ;)

Maybe I can get some pics on the range - coming on after.

- excellent, great stuff!

Look forward to some pics on the range if you can :)

Unfortunatelly we couldn´t get any pics of the range and the great afternoon we had. I just changed the front iron sights of the Marlin to the regular buckhorn sights and didn´t get clear at a distance of (standing) 50 metres. But I could finally hold the 8 at that distance, standing and with SV ammo.

Earl gives good karma.

Hi guys ... just to keep you updated. The last days were rather unexcited. I haven´t done anything else than writting my concerns to EU-Commision about their prohibition of semi-auto rifles in general. I wrote to a ton of parlamentarians, maybe it helps. If there are enough for signing... who knows?!

Eventually I can manage to get some new pics of EARL ...

OK Andi
I triple dare you to take EARL into your work place and get a photo of him sitting in the bosses chair:D

Indeed! I took Earl with me today and sat him on my chair - I´m the director of a small department at work... so it was ok to let him rest there :)

After the small fun - it was getting serious to do the work ... EARL at work :p

Great story and pictures, Humppa! Good to see you and Earl getting some good shooting time at the rifle range.

Do not let Earl spend too much time gossiping with the other workers instead of doing his work... ;)

Has Earl gone missing again?! Be nice to see a bit more of him, and Bavaria, before he moves on

So where is he going to spend Christmas?

Earl once mentioned that visiting Paris was high on his bucket list. Sure hope he makes it there.

I'm a newbie on the forum, and have just clued into Earl's travels. Proud that my fellow Kentuckians treated him to the best of the bluegrass. Safe travels Earl.

Perhaps Earl could spend Christmas in Paris?

Earl would be happy with or without snow as long as he could see the city lights and of course the Eiffel Tower. (if possible)

Just a few photos would be nice

I hope this thread can pick up some traction  Earl's rate of progress around Europe (where he arrived in JULY) has been disappointingly slow so far :(

Simple concept - Receive Earl, take some photos, post photos here, pass him on to another member who wants to do the same
