I'm in California, in the central valley, and have invited Earl at least twice. The Pacific wouldn't be a problem. We also have Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks close by.

after Paris,it must have been very boring staying in my apartment,but finally promise of dry afternoon arrived and opportunity to show Earl around.



we went towards center of the town,usual seaside walk

stop for afternoon coffee at usual spot

Wow! Guys, thank you! I'll be happy to take a place in the queue. I've watched this for sometime and I've really gotten a kick out of it. My wife and son ask about Earl. It's hilarious and a ton of fun.

I'd be more than happy to give Earl a Miami vacation for a bit (assuming this horrible wet weather takes a powder :grumpy after his European adventures. I don't have some of the super fancy Barlows that my fellow porch-sitters can offer but I can certainly make him feel at home among his people and take him out to see the sights -- believe it or not, there is more here than just night clubs and Cuban coffee.

and emperors living space,now just ruins,in the background is his mausoleum,turned in Christian cathedral of St.Dominus(for some irony,he was executed on order of emperor Diocletianus)

narrowest street in palace(called,Let me pass)

another Sphinx in front of Jupiter temple(now John Baptist church)

once people use to sell fruits here

Riva,or waterfront

main square or Pjaca

five minute walk from center we are in forest park

and ten minutes with car in ancient Salona
