Earl Sees the World!

@Jack Black ; MTURBO; brianv:
Thank you, my pleasure! :)

@ Arredondo :
Few people because this is holidays and most have gone to the country visit family / friends. This is usually a business area.

Best things have an end, Earl seems to have needle and pins in his legs and I leave him choose the next place to wander before his next move.

It has certainly been a great visit JP, you have been a wonderful host, and a great ambassador for your lovely city. Thank you for your time and effort, it has been most enjoyable to read your posts :)

I believe Rinos offered to host Earl next

Perhaps after Paris, Earl would like to spend some time in warmer climate,on Adriatic coast :)

Thank you for the beautiful tour of Paris!

All the pleasure is for me!
Yes Earl will sail to Croatia tomorrow. He's a bit afraid by the idea of crossing Italy and meeting some Carabinieri. But that was just a nightmare!

But before leaving he wanted to see the Eiffel tower

Not far, we spared a thought to poor lady Di, this is the tunnel where she crashed. (This is a full size replica of the Flame of Liberty).

Still near the Alma bridge this is where I watched the Who playing Tommy! Keith Moon tried hard to hit the ceiling! What a great souvenir!

We crossed the Champs-Elysées twice,

on our way home Place Blanche,

and place Pigalle. What happened then to Earl is purely private affair. All I can say is that he acted as a Gentleman  :D

Thank you JP for the wonderful photos of Paris. I noticed that Earl even got a ride on a Police motorcycle, I hope he was not up to any mischief! :D

Thank you. In fact it was very amusing. Now a lot of people know Earl and that I am a knife nut! Not sure it's too good for my public image! :D

More great pictures of Paris! Woo hoo! :)

Merci beaucoup!

(I do not know the French language, I took Latin, but I have a close friend in Maine who comes from a French Canadian background! Grin.)

Un tour de force JP! :D  Looks like Earl had a fantastic final day in Paris, though it sounds as if he is beginning to feel hot under the collar! :D Hiding out in Croatia for a while may be just what he needs. I hope he makes the journey safely. Thanks once again JP. Looking forward to seeing more of Earl in the new year

A lot of words are the same, just a question of pronunciation! :D There's a Maine in France too, you surely heard about Le Mans.

Have a nice day.

I havent popped in here is quite sometime, so going through the thread again has been enjoyable.

JP, thank you for a great read and beautiful pictures. To think of trading places with EARL would be amazing to see the world and visit with such great members would be awesome.

Thank you again. :) It was like having an old country relative visiting me, really enjoyable.
I must confess Earl is still near me as yesterday I was not aware the PO closed at 12am. I'll rush tomorrow to PO before it closes!
