Earl Sees the World!

DSC_0181.JPG

after visit to Paris, with Jolipapa as exceptional guide,Earl arrived safely to my hometown on Adriatic coast.
I'll let him rest for awhile(hopefully ,rain will stop)before we get into sightseeing...

Thanks for the update, it's good to hear that he has arrived safely and is in good hands. Enjoy Earl's visit with you rinos.

Has Earl always traveled in that luxury liner, with little spots for his bandanna and everything? It's quite a nice little setup. :)

I guess he did get its comfortable touring gears in Andover, or was it Harrod's winter sales? :D

Knowing a bit where he landed I'm sure he will have some good time!

Glad to see Earl made it safe and sound :) Hope you enjoy a great visit Rinos, looking forward to seeing something of your beautiful homeland

Bon Voyage Earl.
He certainly saw more of Paris than I did. I was there forr only 2 days and spent a goodly portion of that in the knife shop on Iles St Louis.:D

The Laguiole / Aubrac shop, hummm :D

Oui.
and after I'd examined just about every knife in the place ,I left without purchasing anything and told the guy I'd be back tomorrow.
I'm as good as my word and did go back after a night of trying to convince myself that warthog ivory is too costly for me so I got a beautiful En Aubrac with fantastic rams horn.
I swear that when I entered the shop the next day armed only with my credit card the guy grimaced at the thought of me.
I should not be surprised if he has a sign with an Australian flag circled with a line through it on the window.
I was like a dingo in a maternity ward.

but i promise to repeat the tour with better camera and more photos.

Is that a dart sticking into that roo? I knew I should gone for the warthog ivory instead ram horn.

Earl has become quite the world traveler. I have truly enjoyed his adventures in pictures and kudos for all of those that have hosted him. Makes me feel I really have friends around the world and all the photos have made me feel I have had the privilege to have visited them. This is a great thread and when Earl gets back state side I would be happy to show him the beautiful Mountains of Western North Carolina.
