Going larger this weekend. During the week it is the small Insingo. For the weekend it is the large Insingo.

Have you tried sharpening/stopping those yet? The tanto/recurve combo seems like it'd be a pain to deal with.

I have my ZT560 on me right now. Love this knife since it's the closest I'd probably ever get to an XM-18. No matter how much I love the XM, it is my dream knife after all, I could never justify spending that kind of money on a knife.

Thats kinda what I was saying. You'll see it more often from someone using a guided system then you would an edge that was done free hand. That's why I assumed the edge on that Umnumzann was done with a guided system. But who knows maybe it wasn't done with a system. Maybe he did it free hand and just likes the look of wide bevels.

That's why I assumed the edge on that Umnumzann was done with a guided system. But who knows maybe it wasn't done with a system. Maybe he did it free hand and just likes the look of wide bevels.

Good guess. This was done partially freehand and partially on an Edge Pro. I did most of the bevel freehand on a DMT stone, but one side near the tip it wasn't exactly as evenly done as on the the other side, so I finished that side off on the Edge Pro. I wanted to combine a low bevel angle with a "relatively" high microbevel of 30-35 degrees inclusive. If you had it in your hand, you could feel how thin it gets behind the edge, and how much better it slices now.
