I just recently started to wear a suit/ buissnes casual at work and the one thing I realised is which ever blade I chose needs to be a light weight.
I have been carrying my fällkniven U2 over the last few days it works like a charm, especially after some tlc with fine grit paper and a leather strop. Among my other knifes I would consider a SAK Soldier, Case Peanut, Case Texas Jack, Opinels even the large ones are quite light. Delica FFG, Kershaw Skyline and some light weight classic slip joints. I would remove the clip and let it carry deep with my keys or clip it to the inside of my jacket, next to my pen, and light (a Parker jotter and Four Sevens Preon 1)
In a suit the knifes needs to be so light that you almost forget that you are carrying it. I wear pants with suspenders, cause it is cool
, but they will not hold as much weight, also the fabric will show what you are wearing. That is why the jacket is so good, plenty of pockets for pens and lights and knifes.
