It's from Jlasers. It's VERY powerful. You have to wear safety glasses 100% of the time with these.
Most lasers are 3mW. Mine is 3.5 watts, so about 1000 times more powerful.
I love this thing, it's a lot of fun to burn stuff and point at stars. Just make sure you never point it towards aircraft, it's a felony.

I've read/heard, that green pokes into the same territory as what's used for targeting anti-aircraft missiles, but I can't cite a source.

More practically, pointing any kind of collimated light at another person's eyes can do anything from temporary to permanent damage in a real quick time. And of course, that means there have been dumbarses who try to "dazzle" the pilots.
