A 4 inch blued Python! Brings a tear to my eye....wonderful choice!!

Thanks Nukemkb,

It's kinda funny now that I think about it.. When I purchased this pistola back nearly 30 years ago I had no idea they(firearms manufacturer's) wouldn't be forever improving on the simplicity of the humble revolver, and specifically the Colt revolver.. Ho, Hum,, I recon it just goes to show you that some of the classic vintage firearms just cannot be improved upon no matter how hard they try.

Sunnyd, I love your idea of simple my friend!! BTW I am EDC'ing a yellow cv Case soddie!

Thanks salty, I couldn't agree more!.:D

And a yellow CROME VANDIUM Case Sodbuster is just a classic vintage vision of simplicity while commanding the cutting chore at hand.. It reminds me of the memories of one of my favorite uncles who always used his old Black scaled large Case XX Soddie for all his cutt'n tasks on the Citrus farm in north Florida back in the early 1970's!.

Thanks for bringing me back home again, partner..

In my pockets I have a cell phone, keys (inc. swisskey a photonII and a whistle), a Led Lenser David 19 flashlight, and a Spyderco Cricket. On my belt I have a Leatherman Charge TTI, and in the LE pouch there's also the extra bits, a space pen, a lighter and a small plastic bag with a few phone numbers and a 50 eur bill (enough for a cab-drive home). So that's basically my EDC.

Usually I have a (MX Jumbo) bag with me also, that has all sorts of stuff in it too. Work related mostly, but also a first aid kit, some snack and a water bottle.

About the flashlight (since there has been quite a lot of conversation here about 'em)... I have a couple of high-lumen "tactical" flashlights, and I've personally found them to be pretty unconvenient in every day use. They have their places, but for EDC - since I use the flashlight daily, I need something more economical (CR123's are expensive) and not too bright. For example luminating a map or a GPS with a 85+ lumen light is really annoying... all you see is white :) The Led Lenser is perfect for me. It's small, bright enough for e.g. voluntary rescue service training during night time, and uses only one AA battery. Still it has a run time of ~6 hours with one battery, so I only need to have one extra battery and Im set for one whole night.

My knife and my wallet - thats all I ever wanna feel in my pocket at any given time. I hate it when my pockets are stuffed!

My EDC:
1x civilian labs tech-recon shoulder holster bag
1x nokia 6500s phone
1x headset for phone
1x I-pod shuffle (old model) + earphones
1x fisher space pen
1x notebook
1x usb memory stick
Keys, on a shock-cord lanyard, attached to bag by carabiener.

And on friday/monday nights:
1x small single blade folder (french, brand unknown) OR 1x no-brand leatherman clone
1x tactical jack protector 3w flashlight
(I live in the uk, so i cant carry a knife round all the time, the local law enforcement don't like it. friday/monday I help out at a local scout group, so I have a valid Reason)
