I prefer the viewfinder anyway (guess I'm old-school),

You will probably get better results using the camera with the viewfinder, the posture you take when looking through an eyepiece should be more stable than one you take looking at an LCD screen (arms out in front of you wobbling all over) that should help reduce camera shake.

You definately need to use rechargable batteries in digital cameras, performance from alkaline batteries is terrible.

If you have to use alkaline batteries then turn the LCD screen off or they will be flat in no time.

Just picked up a new powershot S80 the other week myself that uses a LiON battery pack but before that I had an older A300 which took AA batteries, 2500mAh NiMH batteries gave great performance.

hhhmmm, been EDCing my Vic Huntsman the last few days, not sure Im liking it. I guess Im not a "SAK person".

So the EDC is returning to normal.

Can't post pictures yet, but here is what I carry:

Left Front Pocket: BM 556 Mini Grip or BM 940, lip balm, gum.

Right Front : BM 905, Keys w/ Photon attached, magnetic money clip, write anywhere pen.

Belt: Sony Ericsson camera phone, ipaq 4155

Back Pocket: wallet

Shirt Pocket (or jacket, seasonal): Altoids tin mini-survival kit.:D

I just got a Spyderco Scorpius last week and it has replaced my Dragonfly(who knows for how long). I also have been doing the SAK thing with a Wenger Adirondack.

Cruisin' around the house on a Sunday.:D

Leatherman Charge in the left front pocket, and just changed the other day to a Rukus in right front.

I just received a new knife to spend time in my pocket. It is a Benchmade 440. I like what I'm seeing. We will see how I like it after some use. :D

Small ceramic stick.
Wallet.

dantzk.

Leatherman Juice SC2
Ritter MiniGrip
Prybaby
Lighter
Smokes
MagFire
Space Pen
1GB USB Stick
Mini sharpie
Wallet
Cell phone
Arc AAA

For the past two days it has been my new BM 610SBK Rukus.

and then my new cell phone, a Motorola V557 with some VERY cool features.

I finally decided to hold my ground against Massachusetts sheeple.

Left cargo pocket: Cell phone (Samsung A680)
Right cargo pocket: Victorinox bi-fold wallet.
Left front pocket: Victorinox Climber with lanyard
Right side belt: 5" 0-1 fixed blade in kydex sheath (both by Brian Goode). It's pretty low profile, and because I don't park on school grounds, I can keep it in the glove box during school legally.
OR if the situation doesn't allow the fixed blade (work etc.)
Right front pocket: Benchmade 550 OD Griptilian
Watch: Victorinox Base Camp or Casio DW-6100 (usually Base Camp)
Car keys either with the Climber or in jacket pocket.

Currently, my EDC is a Spyderco Centofante III. It costs a bit more than a Spyderco Delica, but the extra 1/8" of blade-length on the Centofante translates into a slightly longer handle that allows me to comfortably fit all 4 of my fingers around the handle, unlike the Delica.

Just got this little Brian Tighe belt/neck knife so I've been carry it for 2 days now. 7" OAL with 3 1/2" BG-42 blade, carbon fiber handles. Lightweight, low profile, and pretty damn handy.
