Okay, mine has changed a bit.

During the week(School):

-Keys w/ LM squirt, LED, Fox40
-Mini-Maglite (carried as pocket stick)
-Pack of mentos
-Chap Stick

Anywhere else:

-Keys w/ LM squirt, LED, Fox40
-Camillus CUDA EDC
-Pocket Stick (made this myself for SD)
-Lighter (sometimes)

Been keeping it light, I like to be free! LoL.

Im carrying a "court-friendly" EDC at the moment coz Im on jury duty, so far Ive managed to carry my Swisscard in my wallet with No problems, BUT:-

Thursday - I had to hand-in my SAK Classic of my keychain & collect it on leaving!
Friday- I had to hand in the Swisstech Utilikey off my keychain & collect later

(Carried both in my wallet since & got thru no problem,!!!!)

Today, I had to hand-in the photon clone off my keyring coz the guard looked at it & said it was "very bright"!
I said "yeah???"
Her reply "Well, you could shine it in someones eyes!!!???!!!"

The worlds gone mad!

What will she try to confiscate tomorrow?! (My whistle? "You could blow it in someones ear!") (My glowring? "You could give someone radiation poisoning!")

"Sir, Ill need your shoelaces, you could strangle someone with them."

The guard was right. I COULD shine the light in someones eyes, but Im not goina!
All the smokers were being let through with matches & lighters, you could argue that "they COULD set fire to a courtroom/advocate/judge but Im sure they're not goina!"
Thank goodness I took the Comtech Stinger off my keys before attending court, the guard would have wet herself if she'd found that! LOL

They didn't let you take a Photon keychain light? Wow. I wonder what would happen if I tried to walk in with a Fenix L0P. :p

I KNOW!
The world's gone mad!!
I WAS gonna carry my Surefire E2D in my Maxpedition Devildog (My almost-EDC bag!) but thank F**k I didnt. Hate to think what theyd have made of THAT flashlight, which, incidentally Ive carried on Flights to and from Palma, Mallorca (a VERY secure airport!) with NO problems.

Just get one of the brighter colored Stingers and tell the guard it's a keyfob / keychain toy. A friend of mine is constantly in court (part of her job) the guards WILL confiscate any metal flashlight you have on you; including a mini-maglite. But they still refuse to put handcuffs on the prisoners as they are led into the courtrooms. Some idiotic reason about not showing the prisoner in a bad light to the jury!

BTW, did I mention she works in Atlanta Georgia?..... Yup, same place where that one prisoner escaped, but not before over-powering a guard, stealing her gun and killing a couple of court-officers; including a judge!

As far as I know, she hasn't had any problems getting her Stinger past security. I served Jury-duty a few years ago. After the first 2 days, I noticed that Jurors were allowed to bypass the lines for the metal detectors. I spent several days just walking in with my large, clip-point, plain-edged ColdSteel Voyager clipped to my pants pocket. :)

To me that sounds just plain stupid. :grumpy:

Even here in the more uptight Philadelphia suburbs, MiniMaglites are treated as what they are, flashlights.

As an experiment, I'll try putting a Silver coloured MiniMag in my bag on Monday. Watch this space!
I carry a transparent Stinger on my keys, I thought it was the most "innocent-looking".

Almost..... The light-blue Stingers look more like a key-chain toy than any other color. But in a long line, the clear Stingers are more likely to go un-noticed.

I own a silver mini-mag. (Got it sitting on my computer desk, right now). I like it, but it does make the flashlight look like a short bar of metal. I think you'd be better off using one in a different color. But yeah, let us know if your pocket flashlight gets confiscated. (If it does, let us know the excuse that was given for taking it away from you).
