I've been playing with the pieces of the Ritter survival kit, and one of the first things I did was to make the sheath of the RSK MK5 Survival Knife be captive to the lanyard..

The knife is very comfortable in the hand, easy to work with, and sharp

very nice kit, much of it fits on a necklace, included, and still fits easily back in the waterproof pouch.. lots of cool stuff, water treatment, signalling, fire making, fish hooks, snare wire.. needle and thread.. the RSK MK 5, and a nifty little flashlight..

Glad to see I’m not the only fan of that Little knife. Mr. Ritter sure did his homework when he made that knife. It’s exactly the size you need for a small kit.

Hey Edwood how do you like that Bedlam? ( probably a stupid question haha ) I have been seriously thinking about laying down the cash to get one. I am now going to EDC my brand new Endura 4.

Well it’s a prefect offensive blade. It’s the best blade shape and handles design I have seen in a folder for my needs (a close second is the Emerson Persian).

It’s perfect for reverse and saber grip. And you can even use it as a striking device with the spiked end of the pommel. Grate back up weapon.

I might need to get a Bedlam.

I got Persian 2, quite similiar blade with that too. I intend to do review when I end my summer vacation. Great knife!
I considered bedlam, but I thought persian was better for my utility needs + I like lockbacks (I might be oldschool in that).

Thanks for sharing your Altoid kits too, very nice.

I also highly recommend the Photon Micro light II

or doug ritters version of the Freedom Light which has an extra bright led, and a sidelight shield

Glad to see someone else uses this... IMHO this is avery good and underestimated EDC pocket knife... it looks somewhat odd but has great ergos and can become quite sharp easily.

Nice pic also, by the way
