Not overkill in the least.

For those other technician types, that's an A&H ML3000

The Case Bose collaborations and regular line up Bose designs are really great knives. The annual collaborations are custom quality and the regular line up have added bronze washers iirc.

I actually used my GB onsite today - didn't want to ruin it. Found out how much it actually helped :D

Do you install CCTV for a living? It looks like siamese cable with a low-voltage transformer there for powering the analog cameras, and I see those BNC connectors there, too :)

Hey Edwood how do you like that Bedlam? ( probably a stupid question haha ) I have been seriously thinking about laying down the cash to get one. I am now going to EDC my brand new Endura 4.

Great job Somber!

Thanks! The knife means more to me than any knife I could purchase, and I learned an incredible amount of knowledge.
On my lunch I took five minutes to polish out the patina and kydex scratches, and then re-sharpen the edge:

Not that it means much, but... check out the full flat ground! ;)

Its very nice! Looks like you left the Hamon on the edge? I like the Japanese? Symbols on the right hand side of the knife.

That's just the different layers of steel. It's a san mai of SUS410 with a core of Hitachi White Steel #1. The kanji on the right hand side of the knife stands for Shirogami #1.
