Carrying one of my favourite SAKs today: the small en light Victorinox Cadet.

The other one is a new one, that I got from a friend today. He bought a couple of these Opinel-like knives for only 4 euro each and gave one to me. On the blade it says "Le Bedjuis" en "inox Swiss made". Couldn't find info on this Le Bedjuis brand, but it's a nice knife for the money. It has the size of an Opinel #8, a plastic handle and after sharpening it's as sharp as an Opinel should be.

That would be sweet! I just post it because I'm off and it’s what I've had out on my cutting board. I recommend a large cutting board my friend if you don’t already have one (mine happens to fit in a standard sink diagonal). I have my eye on a John Boos Cutting Blocks at Knife Works lately, and I’d like to have or make an island table on large casters that lock with it’s top made into butcher’s block. I’m not sure if many guys/gals are into large butcher’s blocks like that, but it would be cool to start a thread with pics of them.

Today I carried an early benchmade mini griptilian plain edge:
-oval hole.
-antennae on butterfly logo.
-"benchmade USA" on anodized clip.
-best of all, 440c blade!
Small, simple, yet very strong for its size due to the axis lock, and relatively "vintage".

Nice! I just got mine in Satin. Found it great as a kitchen utility blade for paring and food package opening. I probably will never be in the kitchen without it on my side. I also noticed the Moran is not too popular. Out of curiosity what do you use it for?
