Can you drop the blade normally while you keep your index finger below the choil part?
Looks like it's almost there to be safe....

I can eassily open it with one hand and basically closed it one handed too (just push the lock back and flip it downward)
I honestly dont understand the question totally.
 
I've got the blue mini-grip and my yeller case peanut. I just saw there's a little rust on the grip so I gotta rub that off before I head to the festivities. I've gotta say I am loving the mini grip, I got it yesterday and I cannot put it down. The lock is amazing and it came with a sharp edge which was nice because everyone seems to get theirs dull

Benchmade AFCK D2 axis lock in a pocket holster for a last ditch SD effort if ever needed. clipped above it on my pocket is a spyderco sage 3 for utility

Yes, I meant the flip downwards part. It just looks like you have to hold your finger pretty close to the blade. It's nice knife though!
