Joyce got me this bad boy, it seems to be a clone for the old SnG folder. Now, it escapes me if that older folder was an automatic or not. I'm iffy about the "black lightning" on the blade, but I'll survive.

Bugout bag checked and everything is still in order. Forgot I had this beast of a knife in there. This Gerber feels really good in hand and looks like it could chop down a tree and anything in its way lol.The grip is a textured rubber type material and has a nice secure feel. It even has a built sharpener in the sheath, pretty cool

I believe it’s a Protech Strider Auto collaboration and there great knives ! Absolutely love mine. The Strider SNG was never a Auto only manuals until Protech did there collaboration with them.

I almost picked up a Protech SNG the other day but I'm holding out for a skinny skinner right now. Nice knife, is it slimmer than a normal SNG?

If it is, it's not by much. To me, it felt just like the older model, even just gripping it. Now, I must say that it's been a few years since I had the original model, but I'd have to say that within an ounce it would have me fooled.

I’d say it’s slightly slimmer and I know mine is definitely lighter without a doubt. “Others”
Mileage may vary depending on there scales/covers.

Wow, that's impressive. I just ordered a hard think FK2 in buffed maroon micarta, now I kind of wanted some terotuff. So many decisions; Burlap micarta, Moroon micarta, antique micarta... and now colors of terotuff?
