That deer meat!~:) Clean lean muscle no fat. I usually cook it / fry it in butter (medium heat) due to absence of its natural fat until it is tender and soft. Then I can also move it to salads or other dishes for extra deer meet taste-kick...

What's your secret deer recipe?:cool:

Butter is a good one!

We eat quite a bit so we have several recipes.

Marinated in soy, ginger, garlic, touch of brown sugar. Grilled, fried or Panko fried.
Tenderized and made into steaks with just sea salt and pepper.
Burger (mixed with bacon) for use in place of any beef recipe.
Sashimi.
Foil baked ribs.
Heart/liver pan fry with olive oil and onion.
Dried and made into jerky with sea salt, pepper or chili pepper.
Home made dog food from less desirable parts.

It’s pretty versatile!

Chili or stew works well, backstrap is always grilled or butter saute, steaks with a cream peppercorn sauce.

Forgot about the burger, my brother just had burgers made out of his take last year.
