EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I’ve never seen anything like it... My first exposure to maxamet and it feels like M4 on steroids when I cut things.
The para 3 availability has been good but haven’t been able to find reasonably priced pm2 anywhere. I think the para 3 will remain the user. I also like the patina that rapidly develops through use, adds character.
It is a great blade steel couldn’t agree more.
I think it varies as far as the hard to get aspect. I think they market them that way because earlier on the Para 3 was hard to get and the pm2 wasn’t. It seems to swap back and fourth again I think it’s how they market them for supply and demand.
But yes there both great knives

Its crazy underrated IMO. Absolutely awesome knife. I got a smoking deal on mine years back. It has always stuck around. It genuinely is a great knife.

You're right. Underrated or generally unknown, despite being made in America. I believe price keeps potential buyers leery. While researching the Pallas, I subconsciously held all the specifications in comparison to my Socom Elite (Not usually a good idea) and it holds its own in hand undoubtedly.

Two gripes would the blade thickness behind the edge, and it’s certainly not impossible for the button lock to disengage with a little spine pressure. I don’t perform spine whack tests but curious to see how close I could safely push the limit and know the tool better moving forward. I could post a picture of the edge I put on this knife then a paragraph to explain the reasoning.

I understand the thickness. I had @T.L.E. Sharp reprofile mine to a nice slicer. I wouldn't spone whack any of my knives but have pushed down with reasonable pressure and it holds well. Its just so undeniably smooth, great ergos , and damn good looking. Its kind of like the Para2 and a Hogue ex01 had a beautiful child.
