Thanks, man. I wasn't familiar with the Wegner, having not gotten into modern folders until 2005 or so, so I just looked it up. It instantly reminded me of the Spyderco Kapara I picked up last fall on a whim. You're right about too many knives, not enough money, but the real problem is that if you do get enough money then the cycle just re-starts until you're broke again--wash, rinse, repeat...Nice CP. I remember when those came out I wanted one. I saw a full size Spyderco Tim Wegner shopping for knives the other day, those are an old favorite of mine. Problem is too many knives not enough money.![]()
Fresh out of its mailing box, it's going to be this one for the rest of the day.I never imagined they'd make a waved PM2, but I'm so glad they did!
Visually, it has the "meanness" that every waved knife should have. Pairing that with the precision, comp lock, form factor, and ergos of the PM2 is just genius.

Cheers! That’s a beautiful puukko!
You post some of my favorite pictures on this forum. You include some of my favorite past times; cigars, knives, whiskey, and bonfires.
Missing the whiskey in mine but maybe later View attachment 1337018

So Murph, it's bad enough that this place is full of enablers that get you to spend your hard-earned dollars on knives, but every time I see your Veto bag I think about buying one. Well I'm finally giving in and heading over to my local tool supplier to pick up an XXL-F to replace the large plastic Plano box I've had forever to carry my primary mobile carpenter's hand tools. It doesn't hurt that Veto's currently running a promotion for a free side-pouch with the purchase of a Tier1 or Tier2 bag, though.
