thanks. ordered the last rough texture natural micarta bead he had. already have some coyote 550 cord at home.

just gotta learn how to tie paracord into something fancier than normal type knots now lol.
 
After two days back up in PTown finishing the last part of that job that I had to wait to complete, I can get back to retired mode with a day at home, some rehab time in our little gym, a bit of relaxation, and the chance to bill out both the recent and trailing hours from that project.

I picked out a knife a really like and don't carry nearly enough--my KSF Exclusive 908BK-1501 Stryker. I've got this phobia about marking up coated blades and have sold off a few I was fond of but just never carried. I was actually quite pleased when a got a couple pretty good scratches on this one and found the CerraKote so tough as to not expose the CPM-M4 steel beneath. One of the things Benchmade does best is carbon fiber and the scales on this knife are just superb.
