EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Earlier today we heard considerable approaching thunder and it got quite dark just as I was stepping out onto the deck to snap a couple pics of today's carry. I checked the radar and a storm cell was passing by but it dropped little rain on our part of this too-dry peninsula. It mostly missed us to the North, but perhaps more thoroughly wetted the next town down-Cape. My Cheburkov Scout and I avoided catching more than just a few drops, though we would have dried, and more rain would have been greatly appreciated.

Everyone does not have the same level of use. From the pics I’ve seen, construction/yard work seems to be the dirtiest level of work. Some folks don’t want to post a pic of a dirty knife. Cutting a piece of fruit may not be the most grueling task, but it does qualify as use in my book.

So, is the implication here that a knife is not an edc until it shows significant wear? Many of today’s finishes do a great job hiding signs of use, and many of the knives look fresh out of the box, because they are, like those new socoms you’ve recently been posting, for example. They look icy new to me. Have you used them yet? Either way, whether you’re just carrying them or using them, it qualifies for this thread if you’re carrying it at all today, so I enjoy seeing both folks’ users and their minty new carries. After all, every user starts out as NIB. Gota pop that cherry somehow, amiright? I can assure you that every blade I post to this thread gets used and enjoyed, and I believe the same for the majority of the awesome constituency of this thread. Keep on posting em! :)

I've carried and used this Shirogorov 95T well over a year now, it was used and had a few scratches and snails when I got it, and I've added a few myself. The finish on the Shiro barely shows it in person, I'm hard pressed to capture them in a pic.

Here is a CRK I bought well used, and have used quite a bit since purchasing, shows the use a little more readily, but still looks pretty darn good. Knives don't have to look like they were ran over by a D11 Caterpillar to be well used.

Sharps Sharps well said Sir
Some beautiful knives you have there to!
I take care of my knives like I do my cars , motorcycles and pretty much everything else I take pride in ownership. I don’t go out of the way to use them and definitely not abuse them. But there here when I do need them to admire and or use  Some are safe queens that are just admired. How someone uses or How they enjoy there knives shouldn’t be judged imo just because it’s not the way they would. If I see a hard used knife I respect them for using there knife how it makes them happy and what they need.
My bike has seen top speeds at the track nipping at 170mph. Racing it for 20 minutes every hour for 8 hours straight on every track day that I do. But I’m very meticulous on its maintenance and it’s never seen water it’s always wiped down with a spray cleaner and wax after every ride. You’d never know my bike has be enjoyed so much except for the wads of rubber built up on the tires after a track day:D
That’s how I take care of my knives most look like they’ve just rolled off the show room but I enjoy them immensely like my bike wether it rides in my pocket or in my safe.
