Finishing up my deck/pergola build. Anyone put titanium scales on a Para 3? I've been looking into some.

How do you like the titanium scales on the Para 3? I've been thinking about getting some.
Love the titanium scales! I’ve tried contoured G10, Carbon Fiber, Micarta and Aluminum and these are by far the best! I got the Rockscale Design Hexi skinny scales for the Para 3 first and loved them so much I went for the Bugout ones. A little pricey, but worth it. Give em a try!

What was your best run with the SVT Cobra? I used to race at Houston (really Baytown) Raceway with my 2002 Trans Am Ram Air.
My best run was a 11.8 at Portland International raceway. With all just mostly Bolt ons like a under drive pulley a long with a ported and polished supercharger and Drag radials .It dynoed at Horsepower freaks 502rhw and 546rwt which wasn’t bad at the time.
If I could of got better 60 foots it probably could of got 11.6’s all day. It was a heavy car for it’s size and on the scale with me in it was about 3800 pounds. Also had a independent rear suspension so guys were snapping half shafts a lot. Almost went with a solid rear axle which is perfect for drag racing but bad for handling and a harsher ride. It was a daily driver so rather then do that I just tried to launch softer and make it up on the big end.
Those cars had a hand built motor from the factory and the guys who made that particular motor signed the valve cover. Had forged pistons and rods from the factory with a iron block . Rock solid motor no doubt and SVT stood for special factory team. The rest of the car was mass produced but those motors were a thing of beauty.
Loved that car !
My Honda CBR 1000rr I ran a 10.2 at about a 145mph trap speed. Should of been faster but it was hard to hold the front end down and almost looped it on a couple of occasions
That’s how I get my fix for speed now well that and the road course

This last vid brings back memories my buddy had a black cobra with less horsepower/mods then mine but he Tricked me into having a burnout competition before the race and I won the burnout but got my tires to hot and spun when we raced. He refused to race me again and smiled when he said no once was enough and I won lol:D

This was waiting at the front door when we got home from dinner last night. I seem to be developing a fondness for these French pocket knives, and I gotta say I’m really diggin’ the spalted beechwood handle on this one.

Apologies for the crappy late-night pics; I’ll try to get some better ones this afternoon.
