I second this.
Thank you!! We all have different needs, different habits and different tastes. There are plenty of awesome big knives around for people who enjoy them. I think what makes Jesper such a great knife designer is that he has the ability to make a knife smaller but without compromising the ergonomics and keeping it a very functional knife. I love the size of the Dapper and it amazes me how comfortable it is to hold. Have you tried the Grand? It's a bit smaller than your usual knives but I could imagine that ergos and overall feel are better than many larger knives!I know where you're comin' from, ESD, but first let me say that our friend T thefrank has impeccable taste, takes great pics of his gear, and I always "like" and enjoy seeing his posts. But, yeah, I've got that size thing too with Vox, GM, Fox, and others that are well-designed, nicely made, but just kinda small. I've posted my WC ELC as today's carry, just bought the Ti frame lock version of the same knife, and do have a number of that size and of those brands in my accumulation that get carry time as appropriate, but can't help wishing that they were just a bit bigger. I take pains to call anything I own around 3.5" a mid-sized knife but can't help but think of them as small. My sweet spot just barely starts at 3.625" and I tend to think of those an eighth larger than that and up merely as full-sized.
Still, bigger isn't always better, and I'll probably continue trying and carrying some less unfriendly to light apparel.
