Got a new little blade from my nephews. It’s a nice little, lightweight Richard Rogers design from CRKT - the Symmetry. It will make a nice companion knife for light tasks.

It did indeed freeze up last night and our couple inches of lumpy Cape Cod slush has turned into a crusty, icy mess that's decently walkable across the yard but quite hazardous and generally irremovable as is on the stoop, decks, and steps. Fortunately I've got a couple gallons of ice-melt left over from last season and can soften that mess to better keep us out of harm's way going in and out of our house and gym.

I stayed with Shiro this morning, switching to my Python for Micarta Monday.

I could never do nylon tips but I do appreciate the crisper tones they can pull off cymbals. What kinda kit do you have?

Back when I used to hit harder the nylon tips would fly off lol.
