That's exactly what I thought when I saw it. Every time @BigKurtHaze posts his I drool and let him know how much I love that knife. Absolutely the sweetest Arius I've seen. Now I've got two to fawn over. Can't see this one without thinking of @BigKurtHaze .... nice blade!
It’s a 600amp 208v panelboard. Got a little start on a job this morning. It’ll be running machinery, lights, receptacles, etc180 Amps? Looks like fun!
I'm going to guess HVAC (big heater or a central A/C), or some kind of theatre thing that I know nothing about.
Or maybe you're putting up an entire warehouse full of lights?
I’m in that category. When I was a kid working with my dad he used to starve me out. Used to drive me crazy that he’d never stop to take lunch. Now I’m the same way. I bring my lunch with me everyday to work and eat on the run. Ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while riding a trencher yesterday, leftover cheese sticks sitting in the truck writing a material list todayJust an update...my blades do see use.
Lunch of champions. Hahaha!! Or may be the “don’t have time for lunch” guys.

Still one of my favorite looking CRKs
That’s what I call mine, Starkosi
I've been very tempted by that Klotzli ever since @Barman1 started flashing pics and his favorable impressions of the SBG all over this thread. How's the feel in hand? The back part of the grip concerns me as it seems a bit narrow and I can't quite close the last two fingers on either hand due to arthritis and various "industrial accidents", although handles with similar downturns do nestle into my old mitts well.
That's a very attractive knife that has a look that's right in my sweet spot. I've been very pleased with the N690C in my Wilson Combat/Fox ELC and do find it a most capable steel. Congrats on picking that one up!
People who know coffee have told me Cafe Bustelo is pretty good, and now I agree. But I have no idea how to say it.

Just received this yesterday, a grail of sorts, often called the Chris Reeve Inkosi/Umnumzaan of Europe, the Klotzli Swiss Border Guard. A manual button lock running on PB washers. At little stiff straight out of the box (just like a Chris Reeve), but after cleaning and working it for the better part of yesterday this thing is already developing a glassy smooth feel. Very fidget friendly, I can easily thumb flick, middle finger flick, and button lock flip open/close. The blade steel is Bohler N690, which may not excite the steel aficionados, but is still in wide use and very popular in Europe. I've been using a Boker N690 fixed blade for the last six years and it is a very capable steel. The Swiss Border Guard did kitchen duty last night and was the only knife I used to prepare a chicken and sausage gumbo dinner. Loving it so far.
PS the photos belie the beautiful polished stonewashed blade finish which is similar to the Spyderco Swayback.

I found some online and almost put one in my cart today, S&F, but I have a couple jobs that will probably pay out this coming week and decided to wait for the bank balance to look a little better before pulling the trigger. If they disappear in the meantime, well, they will make more and it's not like I'll be short on knives 'til I get one.ChazzyP!
Fun fact...the Swiss Border Guard has actually been around for a number of years now, just very hard to get ahold of. They are great knives, well built and feel very similar in width to a Sebenza.
I’ve wanted one also, for a number of years now, and my local B&M has them back in stock...oh the decisions, right?![]()
Oh man I love those Klotzi's.. The border guard just has such great lines and would be perfect to send out to Chip for a little extra love!!! Enjoy it!
That’s the best one I’ve seen, it’s getting my gears turning.
