I had the same thing happen with a battery when I had my RZR battery tender showed it green but wouldn't start. I had a kawasaki prairie ATV the battery Lasted 9 years and never used a battery tender. Seems like now I'm only getting 2 to 3 years out of em. Maybe the tender shortens the life??
I gave up on the expensive ones from the dealership and I found a place online that sells batteries for around 35 bucks. I have one that's 3 years old and still cranking..
You know you could be right about the battery tender but I’ve never had a issue with them before. I think my factory battery was rated at like 6 years not sure but I only got just under 4 years. I almost got a budget battery but it was a gel cell and I heard there not as dependable.
