EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

really like that swayback! Whats the blade length on that guy as im finding conflicting info online. Thinking of snagging one for myself

Thanks brother! I noticed the same. I'm note sure where the Case website gets 2.8". A quick measurement by me yields an entire blade length (from the top measured where spring meets blade) of 2.5, from the tang to the tip (Giggity) it is 2 1/8, and if you take away the little choil you're left with a cutting edge right at 2". I'll post a pic below with a comparison to the Case Barlow. I also picked up the Sway Back in Cabernet which was a gamble because I wasn't sure about it from online pics, but in person I was pleased. The blue one is a discontinued color, but it can still be tracked down. Mine arrived with tarnished bolsters, but they polished up easily. After holding these, I'd really like to grab one of the older two-bladed versions, as I think that this pattern can benefit from the added thickness.

It's surprisingly easy to sharpen, actually. I have a Hapstone V7 sharpener, and using the lapping film mounted on acrylic blanks, it's no more difficult to sharpen than any steel. Takes a fine edge, too. I've sharpened this one probably 4 or 5 times, between use and testing.

Very nice. I found it and will catch up with it. Thanks for the info.

Decided to go with the Medford for church this morning.

On a side note; for the time being I’m sticking to indoor venues for pics. It’s just way too effin’ hot for me to venture outside this afternoon.

What happened to all the car pictures?

Man, something about seeing knives paired with A/V components just really hits a note for me. Very cool pictures, the last one in particular. Those two pieces compliment one another like they’re part of the same series or model line. Awesome shots!
Thanks very much Brother !
Both are a passion of mine and really enjoy sharing them :)

Very handsome knife
I’m going to have to get another 562cf one of these days

Imo ZT’s 0562 is was one of their finest releases and Hinderer collaborations.

I agree the 0562 is a great knife. We are lucky to have the pattern still available and luckier still to have some great aftermarket vendors making hardware and scales allowing us to customize the knife to fit our own personal tastes.
