EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Chip, you have some cool blades that bring back memories of times past. Thank you for posting all of these beauties.🥸
No problem, Martin...they deserve the attention. I just wish there were more people locally to get together, a lot of these weird ones really need to be played with to be appreciated.

Sorry to jump in to the conversation uninvited, but I’ve got a B12 Spearpoint “Noble”. The B12 is a great knife…comfortable, nicely sized for a “gentleman’s” folder, lightweight and boasting an impeccable fit and finish (to my eye anyway). Depending on the materials and blade, I’ll also add that the Nichols Damascus used on mine has an aesthetic and tactile quality unlike any other I’ve seen.

For what it’s worth, I’ll also note that the “resin” based scales can tend to pick up swirl marks and light scratches that show up under certain lighting.
I appreciate any input i can get on WH and the B12 as there is not a ton of videos out there on them that i could find and first hand experience from an owner/user is always the best! Definitely helpful thank you :).

Trying out a new to me malibu today along with a beater endela for backup. Reminds me a lot of the smock action wise and carries nicely. Kinda wish Protech would add an inlay like on the newport to break up the slick and kind of vanilla slab of aluminum but it is a neat folder.

Daaaag, you gotta break that in, son!!!

Mine is drop shutty these days, but of course, it took awhile to get there!
It was drop shut. However, I took it apart to clean and relube it and tightened the pivot down a bit more than it was previously. I've found the detent on all SHFs (I've had 6) to be a bit light, and the blade would shake out fairly easily. I'm trading drop shut for snappier opening and a bit more safety. It will continue to smooth out at it's current tightness.
